Who We Are
We are a group of the nation’s top physicians and communications strategists who have joined forces to mount a public awareness campaign urging patients and communities, especially communities of color, to not hesitate, but vaccinate as early as possible.
Envisioned by Dr. Jacqueline Jones – a board-certified Ear, Nose and Throat Physician in private practice in Manhattan and Brooklyn, on the faculty of Weill Cornell Medical College, and one of the nation’s “Top Doctors” (see A Doctor’s Story) – when a number of her health care colleagues expressed hesitancy in getting vaccinated, she wrote an open letter to patients urging them to vaccinate. Castle Connolly, which researches and selects the definitive and trusted list of the nation’s top doctors, issued the letter with the endorsement of their 1200 Top Doctors.
Dr. Jones, wishing to make these top doctors’ orders go as viral as the disease they are fighting, reached out to her long-time patient and friend, Davia Temin, who runs a marketing and media strategy, crisis and reputation consultancy and coaching firm. Ms. Temin’s goal was to launch an awareness campaign in order to get the word out quickly. She donated the resources of her Temin and Company team – strategists Rachel Clarke, Trang Mar, Amy Cao, Suzanne Oaks Brownstein, and Maria Matveeva – as well as Creative Director Victor DeCastro and Brand Strategest/Writer Roger Chiocchi.

Dr. Jacqueline Jones
Dr. Jacqueline Jones is an Associate Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology at Weill Cornell Medical Center. She graduated from Smith College, completed her residency at University of Pennsylvania and her fellowship at Harvard University. She sits on the Medical Advisory Board of Castle Connolly Top Doctors. Dr. Jones is the best selling author of Medical Parenting: How to Navigate Health, Wellness and the Medical System with Your Child.
Davia is the CEO of Temin and Company, a boutique management consultancy focused on global, socially responsible crisis management, marketing strategy and reputation enhancement for some of the most well-respected organizations and leaders in the world. Prior to founding the firm, Davia ran Corporate Marketing for GE Capital, Schroders, Citi Investment Bank and Columbia Business School. An Honors graduate of Swarthmore College, she has served on their board, as First Vice Chair of Girl Scouts of the USA, and currently as Board Chair of international NGO Video Volunteers, among many others.
Chief Client Engagement Officer
Trang is a strategic marketing and communications professional who helps lead a variety of Temin and Company’s most important initiatives, client engagements and business projects. Responsible for aligning our team discussions and strategy while providing editorial, marketing, media relations, project management, and research support, she also serves as a coach alongside Davia Temin in the areas of media training, presentations training, and communications training.
A graduate of Ithaca College and the Wharton School (MBA), Roger began his career at Young & Rubicam where he progressed to Sr. Vice President and then became President of a Y&R subsidiary, The Lord Group. He has worked on campaigns for Advil, Sears (“The Softer Side of Sears”), Bell Atlantic and USAA among many others. Throughout his life, Roger’s avocation has been writing; he is the author of three books: Mean Spirits, Baby Boomer Bust? and Time Framed.
After graduating from Estacio de Sa University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Victor began his career at Grey Advertising. Before leaving Brazil he was an Art Director at BBDO. Later he landed a job at JWT in New York where he worked on the DeBeers and Citibank accounts. From there, Victor served as Creative Director for several companies: The Guild Group, International Creative Resources (ICR), Troll Communications (Scholastic), Brandloft, among others. As the world went digital, Victor transformed himself as well. He is a consummate digital marketer having mastered both the art and science of the digital world.
Suzanne Oaks Brownstein
Suzanne develops thought leadership for clients and communicates this expertise to all stakeholders, including the press. She conceives of, researches, and writes content and external- and internal-communications pieces for clients – including brand messaging, press releases, website copy, thought pieces, white papers, and articles submitted for publication. A former senior editor in book publishing, Suzanne acquired books for Random House and HarperCollins. She is a graduate of Harvard University.
